Dear Shahriar,

I'm a 36 year old attorney currently doing consulting work in Los Angeles. I was born here in Los Angeles, though I lived in Tehran, Iran between the ages of 2 and 13. I speak Farsi and Armenian fluently, though my Farsi can use some polishing up. I have also been studying A Course In Miracles for 12 years now and have facilitated several groups throughout the past 6 years or so. I'm very interested in getting to meet and know you. I'm just starting to rediscover my religious roots in Zoroastrianism and am fascinated with the parallels between ACIM and it. As a diplomat of the Philosophical Research Society, and on behalf of the president Dr. Obediah Harris, I'd like to invite you to a lecture this weekend at 11:00 AM, on Sunday, if you can make it. This last weekend Obediah delivered a lecture on "The Persian Mysteries" which included a lot of information on Zoroastrianism. At any rate, I think you should find the PRS interesting. Currently there are five of us of Iranian origin that attend lectures there regularly and are looking to form a group and study Spiritual Principles and their applications.

Kind Regards;

Arthur Minassian

I would be interested in the more mystical and esoteric aspect of Zorastrianism. What is the 'Sarosh'. Are they any parallels with the Sufi tradition??? Like many religious texts, the Zorastrian ones seem to point to a higher ultimate truth-the real sound and light inside each one of us!!

I think... zarathushtra was very bright mind person. He think very freely. He respect people really-because he respert the way people choose for their life true or wrang-and love all living things. he is very strong because he is honest! really honest. His songs guide men in their dark life. I love him much than myself. I beleive him...

I can talk in pharsi with my mother and my father understand the same.

My freinds : come towards pharsi learning, this is our language, our property. We should learn and we will learn (know) our language and culture.

The enlightenment of the world to the great Zarathushtrian Thinking and way of life, is a noble cause and I urge you to bring to these portals, the entire authentic translation of the Holy Gathas and the Khordeh Avesta for the future generations of mankind. Yes, Zarathushtianism is destined to again break out into it's pristine flames, from the smoldering smoke that it is at present, "FOR IT HAS YET TO GUIDE THE WORLD". ATHA ZAMYAD YATHA AFRINAMI!

I accidently strayed onto this site & was captivated by the richness of the content. The Cyber Temples are inspiring. I do believe that the resurgence of the Zoroastrian Faith will parallel the growing use of the computer & the Internet. The future has never been brighter & I would not trade my place for any other moment in time....after all history is no fun unless you are a part of it !!!! I have this site on my Favourite list & have rcommended it to my family. Best wishes, Noshir Hansotia.

I am a christan from mumbai, but i have a lot of intrest in the parsi religon, the way of life. In my life i have never come a cross a parsi who is bad or intedning bad, You people are the best people i have ever come across. It is really sad to see that the parsi population is on a decline, but i am sure that god will help resolve this issue. Good thougts, good words, good deeds are indeed great way of life

This is a fascinating website and one much needed. Thank you for the extreme hard work and love that went into this very detailed and well planned site. It is both a source of information and inspiration for many of us.

I would like to add something political here: I believe that the philosophy of Zoroaster has to be spread and broadcast in USA for the general public. This beautiful and great country is rapidly going down a moral spiral of hedonism. When a morally bankrupt president is lauded and appreciated by a large sector of society; when truth plays second fiddle to a "whats'in it for me?" generation; when welfare instead of self-help and workfare is the mantra of a corrupt government interested only in its own power; the values of the Zoroastrians become beacons of light. I can only speak as a Parsi from Bombay - proud of my people and our great ancestors - and as a true American. This country needs to hear the refreshing message of our philosophies to inject it with a new will power and courage to meet the challenges of a difficult new world. When we Zoroastrians (Parsis) came to India, we stayed to make it the better for our presence. May that always be true of whichever country we live in - England, Canada, USA.. You have just taken a giant step towards such a dream. Thank you again. NM

Greetings Earthlings!!! Good job on the website! I was impressed by all of the interesting information I found...it proved to be very helpful in helping me discover my roots and rediscover what a beautiful religion I belong to!

As so many Zoroastrians around the world, we are confused with who we are; we weren't brought up with any scruples (think back to the vultures eating our loved one's flesh...while they're ALIVE~it's a conspiracy!) To all of you who I have insulted...get a grip and pick up the holy Avesta.

Hello there!

I come from Germany and I've got a question to the webmaster/author: Why are these textes in English when you have written down your homepage address in a German guest book? And do you mean with "Zarathushtra" the word from the book "Antichrist" from Friedrich Nietzsche?

Please send me an answer, thanks!

Zoroaster was the first prophet who mentioned in his scripture about the "Children's of Light" and "Children's of Dark." The next group of people who mentioned these classification were Essenes of Qumran, Israel, my ancestors.

These "Light" and "Dark" are references to "human soul." Light being the "light Matter" and dark being the "Dark Matter or Dark Energy."

2000 yrs later it is happening again.

Human soul is nothing but "Light Particles" (photones) that are trapped within us. Anyone who is familiar with "Fiber-Optics & Photonics" technology will understand this comment. Center of the universe is our brain and not a physical space (not even a point) in the outer space.

For more information read the "Time Magazine" ("How the Universe will End"-June 25, 2001, Vol 157, No 25) to find humanity's future.

DOROD ..im a PERSIAN living in Norway...i personaly dont belive in god but i think it is a great honor that we persians have so many FINE religions, i know a lot of peope who are hidden zaratoshts they are zaratoshts but thats only within their heart..on the outside they are muslims...they have to be muslims because they are afraid that they cant go back to IRAN....ITS A SHAME! we are PERSIANS we should be proud of our land and our religions..ISLAM is for arabs and not even they are doing what we are..my message to the dearest PERSIANS TURN BACK TO YOUR OWN RELIGION!! WE HAVE WHAT NO ONE ELSE HAS! we should be proud of it and we should all turn to it...i comment this from a nutral angle: if u want one GOD...look within ureselfs...if u want heaven or hell turn within ure country dont let these arab bastards determen the future of PERSIA! we had tens of thousands of civilisations before them we are ten thousands times better than them in every possible way! BEDROD my deam is that one day i can turn back to PERSIA (the land of freedom "THE WORDS OF CYRUS THE GREAT") and live my life besides my fellow zaratoshts and BE HAPPY in my ancestors land!
